Join HCAN Speaks! on Monday, January 29th at 11AM via Zoom for the launch of this year's Children's Policy Agenda.
The annual Hawaiʻi Children’s Policy Agenda is convened by Hawaiʻi Children’s Action Network Speaks! and reflects the input of our Community Champion members. These organizations, coalitions, and individuals are committed to improving the lives of our keiki by promoting public policy changes that benefit children’s health, safety, education, and economic security.

2024 Advocacy & Training Series: My Hawaiʻi. My Voice.
The HCAN Speaks! annual Policy and Advocacy Training Series is designed to build advocacy skills and knowledge for professional and public advocates alike before the upcoming legislative season. Come learn about the issues facing Hawaiʻi's families and keiki today and how to get involved. Use your voice, learn new skills, and join the mission to make Hawaiʻi a better state to raise a family.
Parent and community leaders joined us for Opening Day at the State Capitol! They met with legislators and discussed why Paid Leave and affordable, quality childcare are needed for our families now more than ever! We attended the Opening Session in the Senate and the House and visited with legislators during the Open House afterwards.
